Symptoms

Recurring task execution displays  "The board does not have active/future sprint configured" error message even though the target sprint exists.

If you set Sprint State field to "Active Sprint" in your recurring task then the target sprint is the one which is started but not completed yet.

If you set Sprint State field to "Future Sprint" then the target is the sprint which exists but it is not started yet.

Solution

  In order to add new issue, created by recurring task, to given board and the target sprint:

• target sprint must exist
• given board has to be configured for selected project:
