Problem

"Start/Stop Timer" button is not visible on an issue page (when manual mode is configured in add-on configuration).

Solution

  1. Make sure that add-on is enabled for given project. Please go to add-on configuration and enable selected project.

    TODO: add configuration screenshot

For every enabled/configured project, property "gebsunStartWorkIsEnabled" with value "true" is added to JIRA project. This way JIRA decides to display/hide "Start/Stop Timer" button.

  2. Make sure that add-on has "Administer Project" permission so the property "gebsunStartWorkIsEnabledcan be added (otherwise "Start/Stop Timer" button will not be visible).

    1. Add "Administer Project" permission in all required projects for user "Automated Log Work for JIRA".

You can check if user has "ADMINISTER_PROJECT" permission using Permission Helper

    2. Go to add-on configuration and one more time save plugin configuration (so "gebsunStartWorkIsEnabled" property will be added to all enabled projects)
    3. Check if you can see "Start/Stop Timer" button on an issue page.
